A musician from California has been staging performances on the back of a flatbed pickup truck as he is driven down streets to bring joy to people.
The musician and part-time waiter, Tanner Howe of Huntington Beach, has felt the effects of Covid with his gigs being cancelled and the restaurant shutting down. So he took h is music on the road, literally, singing from the back of a truck to entertain people during the pandemic.
The singer and his band apparently have performed at Disneyland, the House of Blues and other local venues in Southern California.
He initially planned on only visiting four houses - his grandparents and some local family friends in the Long Beach and Orange County area – but people were cheering him on as he drove down the street and the concept grew. He sang with his father on guitar and his mother drove the truck.
According to Yahoo!Life, the video, which was posted to YouTube, featured people dancing, laughing and singing along as they drove by performing songs like “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake.
