British street artist Banksy's Valentine’s Day mural has been vandalised within 48 hours after it appeared.
The mural of a small girl with a catapult and a splatter of red flowers has been defaced with an offensive phrase written in pink.
A Perspex panel placed over the artwork to protect it has also been torn down.
To protect the mural, temporary fencing has been added and CCTV will be installed.
