The UK and other parts of the world are seeing a mad rush on supermarkets to stock up on everything from toilet paper to canned soup, all because of the fear surrounding COVID-19.
I’m sure you have seen videos posted to various social media platforms showing people fighting in the aisles over a roll of toilet paper, it's all very ... surreal.
But we do not have that issue in Bahrain, locals and expats alike are keeping a cool head and trying to maintain ‘business as usual’ which is exactly what we should be doing!
While COVID-19 is undoubtedly a cause for concern and we must all remain vigilant and protect ourselves, one of the worst things we can do is panic and blow everything out of proportion.
So well done everyone for keeping you a level head and, in the spirit of the famous British poster, ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’
