All municipal facilities in the Capital, including public gardens and parks, will soon be closed until further notice, the GDN's Mohammed Al A’ali reports.
The Capital Trustees Board voted in favour of the move today, but its chairman Saleh Tarradah has asked for exceptions such as walkways to allow people to practice sports through social distancing guidelines.
The list will be prepared by the services and public utilities committee before referring it to Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf for ratification.
This comes under efforts to combat the spread of Covid-19.
