Khosh Solutions – A group of enthusiastic students from the Royal University for Women started their entrepreneurship journey last year by participating in the Injaz Company Program and became successful sustainable entrepreneurs mentored and supported by Dr. Nehal El Nagger, Director of Center of Women Excellence for Women Empowerment (CEWE) and Kai Miethig, Wasterepreneur and Architect.
Khosh Solutions qualified with 7 other university companies out of many universities from all over Bahrain for the Injaz National Company Competition.

We all have watched movies, listened to music and played video games from CDs or DVDs.
Students were submitting an average of 6 CDs/DVDs individually for their projects, but where are they now? Stored in boxes, taking space in the storage rooms or are just disposed of with billions of other CDs/DVDs annually as part of around 60 million tons of e-waste in 2019, which is estimated to grow to 120 million tons by 2050 and will pollute the environment.
Why? Because 80% of the technology users don’t know how to dispose safely their old items and devices.
Khosh Solutions is the perfect solution to convert the trash of others into something valuable and unique. Because of the general lack of knowledge and the absence of awareness a perfect solution must be developed. Upcycling this e-waste by Khosh Solutions is the key. Turning yesterday’s latest technology into something memorable and unique for anyone with using art and creativity.
Khosh Solutions is aiming to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals in different aspects: Health and Well-being as well as Responsible Consumption and Production.
Khosh Solutions always believed in the value of diversity by having team members from different nationalities, professions and interests, developed the first product “CDimensions” created from CDs and different dimensions.
It has been designed for kids, teenagers and adults, actually for every person who wants to be creative and an artist, creating own jewelry and accessories plus being part of protecting the environment.

These 3 products will cover the needs of any creative person; especially during these times while stuck at home, the people will have almost endless opportunities to be creative and create a unique and memorable piece of art.
Khosh Solutions aims to produce with fully recycled materials to reduce environmental impact as much as possible and to contribute as well more in protecting the environment by using other people’s trash as a base for a new creative product. Research is currently ongoing to come up with new creative upcycled e-waste items, e.g. like accessories made from motherboards. Online tutorials on e-waste management are under development for inspiring more people from all over the world.
So now it is the right time to start being creative and grab the opportunity to create something that helps the environment as well the humans being isolated and bored at home.
