The Health Ministry has registered 469 new cases of Covid-19, out of the 7,899 tests carried out yesterday, reports GDNOnline.
Of these new cases, 220 are expatriate workers, 242 are contacts of active cases, and seven are travel related.
This takes the total number of active cases to 5,062, of which 5,048 are stable, 79 cases are receiving treatment, and 14 are in critical condition.
There were 503 recoveries from Covid-19, increasing the total number of recoveries to 11,109.
