There are many words in English that sound lovely to the ear and I'm sure that everyone has their own personal favourites. I've listed some of mine - perhaps some of your favourites are here too?  

Cherish : To hold dear; to nurture with loving care and affection.

Diaphanous : A fineness of texture; sheer; an extreme lightness and delicacy of form.

Ecstacy : A trance-like state in which a person transcends normal consciousness; rapturous delight.

Eloquence : The art of using language in a vivid, apt and fluent way.

Ennui : A feeling of utter weariness and discontent caused by satiety or by a lack of occupation or excitement; boredom.

Ephemeral : Lasting for a very short time, transitory.

Epiphany :  A moment of sudden revelation.

Ethereal :  Extremely delicate; light;  not of this world.

Euphoria : An intense feeling of happiness or elation.

Exquisite : Extremely beautiful; magnificent; superb; elegant.

Gossamer : A fine, filmy substance consisting of cobwebs spun by small spiders.

Incandescence :  Bright light produced by very high temperatures; luminescent; glowing.

Iridescent : Producing a display of vividly shimmering rainbow-like colours.

Lithe : Graceful, athletically slim and flexible; lissome; svelte.

Liquid : Fluid; flowing; having the translucence of water; clear.

Mellifluous : Sweet-sounding; smooth; musical and pleasing to hear.

Metallic : The bright radiance of metal; shiny; gleaming.

Nostalgia : A sentimental longing or wistful affection for a period in the past.

Nuance : Subtle and delicate shades of meaning or feeling.

Precious : Of high value; greatly loved or treasured.

Quintessential : Representing the most perfect or typical example of a quality or class.

Scintillate : Dazzling liveliness or wit; glitter; sparkle; shimmer.

Serendipity : The chance occurrence of events in a beneficial way.

Sheen : A soft lustre on a surface; opalescent.

Silence : A complete absence of noise or sound.

Silver : A shiny greyish-white colour with a lustrous gleam.

Subtlety :  Delicately complex and understated.

Tranquility : Being free from agitation of mind or spirit.

Velvet : A soft and silky smooth fabric with a short dense warp pile.

Whisper : Speaking very softly and only with breath to avoid being overheard, for secrecy or intimacy.
