MANAMA: Bahrain yesterday recorded 534 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 411 recoveries and one fatality.
A Bahraini woman, aged 85, died yesterday, taking the toll to 84.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 534 new cases, 326 were expatriate workers, 200 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related.
It said that an additional 411 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 20,928.
The ministry added that of the 5,227 active cases, 79 are receiving treatment and 43 are in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 26,239 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 545,125 tests for Covid-19.
