Bahrain yesterday recorded 573 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 735 recoveries and one fatality.
A Bahraini man, – aged 64, died yesterday, taking the toll to 95.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 573 new cases, 297 were expatriate workers, 246 contacts of local cases and 30 travel-related.
It said that an additional 735 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 23,318.
The ministry added that of the 4,997 active cases, 58 are receiving treatment and 48 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 28,410 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 584,070 tests for Covid-19.
