Bahrain yesterday recorded 482 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 567 recoveries and six fatalities.
Of the six men who died from the virus yesterday, three are citizens aged 71, 79 and 51, while the remaining are expats, aged 41, 73 and 44 – taking the toll to 117.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 482 new cases, 260 were expatriate workers, 216 contacts of local cases and six travel related.
It said an additional 567 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,320.
The ministry added that of the 4,123 active cases, 113 are receiving treatment and 48 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 34,560 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 693,539 tests.
