Bahrain yesterday recorded 524 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 489 recoveries and four fatalities.
Three Bahrainis and an expat man, 50, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll in the country to 121.
Among the Bahrainis who died were two men, aged 48 and 69 and a 53-year-old woman.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 524 new cases, 271 were expatriate workers, 251 contacts of local cases and two travel related.
It said an additional 489 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,809.
The ministry added that of the 4,154 active cases, 90 are receiving treatment and 48 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 35,084 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 703,002 tests.
