Bahrain yesterday recorded 389 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 379 recoveries and three fatalities.
Among those who died yesterday included two citizens – a man, aged 58, and a 76-year-old woman – and an expatriate man, aged 55. Today’s death took the total fatalities to 124.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 389 new cases, 222 were expatriate workers, 162 contacts of local cases and five travel related.
It said an additional 379 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,188.
The ministry added that of the 4,161 active cases, 82 are receiving treatment and 47 are in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 35,473 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
