I was never a fan of string-intruments (I don't know if this is the correct term for them) but I have always wondered how they are crafted by hand to perfection making every single Oud a unique work of art.
I recently visited a factory in Bahrain that specialised in hand-crafted unique Oud which have been recognised regionally and internationally for their quality craftsmanship, quality materials and authentic Bahraini production.
The man behind the magic, Adnan Al Saada, inherited the love for the craft from his forefathers and have been creating works of art for the past 50 years by hand and expressed the love that goes into every uniqye Oud.
Watching a Bahraini craftsman passionately turning his love for music into hand-made musical instruments that have received global recognition is a source of pride for me as a young Bahraini.
His shop is located on Exhibition Road and is called Music Spot.
