Bahrain yesterday recorded 299 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 341 recoveries and three fatalities.
Among those who died yesterday include a male citizen, 58, and two expats, a 68-year-old male and a 43-year-old female, taking the total number of deaths in Bahrain due to the coronavirus to 150.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 299 new cases, 121 were expatriate workers, 178 contacts of local cases.
It said an additional 341 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 39,007.
The ministry added that of the 2,678 active cases, 75 are receiving treatment and 48 are in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 41,835 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 850,648 tests.
