Mast Chai Party!!

Chai/شاي / Tea/ Karak .. whatever you want call it, it's equally loved all over the world. Chai back home (Pakistan) is a solution to every problem. Chai is essential either you had dinner or lunch, in evening or morning, if u are stressed or happy, in friends gathering or during an official meeting .. Chai is a MUST for every event!! We even do celebrate rain with a cup of tea.The chai or cup of tea has evolved with time, its comes in many names now with 100s & 1000s different blends!! You choose what suits your taste buds from those blends 😀
Since I love tea / chai so much, I decided to have a tea party with you all everyweek here on my blog, the idea is to bring back all those memories which was related to that cup of tea ; believe me there are many, try & think what chai meant in your household while growing up specially if you are from South East Asia .. so let's grab tht cup of tea, chill & read along! Evening tea or "sham ki chai" or "شاي المساء" is incomplete without some snacks with it. We tend to have something with chai even if ots a piece of biscuit (& to dunk that biscuit in the cup of tea, ohh its all another experience 🤤) We'll kick off this tea party with my favourite desi cafe in town @mastcafebh. Its such a vibrant & cozy cafe located in Galali (do check their page for exact location). For our weekend chai party we got Butter chicken samosa bowl, chicken tikka samosas, Bunkebab & gol gappa & ofcourse my favourite Zafrani chai ( its a specially brewed tea along with milk & saffron strands which gives that special aroma plus unique taste, its quite famous in this part of the world)
Now the food was superb, the samosas were fresh, not oily at all (best part of them being not oily) , full with flavourful chicken!! .. the butter chicken bowl was unique, rich to the pallette & amazingly good portion size!! .. the bunkebabs were actually really big & can be eaten as early dinner as well! The great thing for gol gapped was it was hygienic, neatly done & the pani was served in a separate glass to avoid spilling (it'll be best go eat it there only to retain its crispness) . The star of the show was Zafrani chai which for me, is the best chai of B-Town!! (Do try it yourself, im sure you won't be disappointed)
Personally Mast is one of my favourite desi cafés here in Bahrain, I love their cozy ambience .. their customer service (I'm a big sucker for good customer service) & ofcourse good affordable food + Zafrani Chai!! Do check them out & let me know what you think of them!
I'll be sharing my chai experience with you all .. Chai is really a part of our tradition (Pakistani) so if it interests you, do come & join me in journey to explore some good chai places here in Bahrain 🇧🇭 !!
