Bahrain yesterday recorded 378 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 337 recoveries and two fatalities.
Two expatriate men, 54 and 73, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 170.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 378 new cases, 132 were expat workers, 236 contacts of local cases and 10 travel-related.
It said an additional 337 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 42,806.
Of the 3,454 active cases, 97 are receiving treatment and 35 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 46,430 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 962,334 virus tests.
