Bahrain yesterday recorded 396 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 392 recoveries and two fatalities.
Two Bahraini women, aged 62 and 52, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 175.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 396 new cases, 156 were expatriate workers, 233 contacts of local cases and seven are travel related
It said an additional 392 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 43,921.
Of the 3,485 active cases, 93 are receiving treatment and 45 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 47,581 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 991,140 virus tests.
