Bahrain yesterday recorded 353 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 350 recoveries and one fatality.
A 62-year-old expatriate man died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 179.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 353 new cases, 132 were expatriate workers and 221 contacts of local cases.
It said an additional 350 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 44,628.
Of the 3,496 active cases, 85 are receiving treatment and 37 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 48,303 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,011,805 virus tests.
