Bahrain yesterday recorded 358 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 538 recoveries and two fatalities.
Two Bahraini women, 73 and 81, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 181.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 358 new cases, 123 were expat workers and 230 contacts of local cases and five travel related.
It said an additional 538 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 45,166.
Of the 3,314 active cases, 75 are receiving treatment and 36 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 48,661 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,020,803 virus tests.
