
Bahrain yesterday recorded 398 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 393 recoveries and one fatality.
A 73-year-old expatriate man died from Covid-19 yesterday taking the death toll to 190.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 398 new cases, 120 were expatriate workers and 270 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related.
It said an additional 393 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 49,047.
Of the 2,735 active cases, 62 are receiving treatment and 36 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 51,972 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,108,088 virus tests.
