Bahrain yesterday recorded 468 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 348 recoveries.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 468 new cases, 123 were expatriate workers and 340 contacts of local cases and five travel-related.
It said an additional 348 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 49,395.
Of the 2,855 active cases, 52 are receiving treatment and 37 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 52,440 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,118,837 virus tests.
