Numerous accolades have been awarded for outstanding achievements across multiple categories
Global Village, the UAE and wider region’s leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, has celebrated the accomplishments and commitment of its Season 24 partners by announcing the annual Global Village Awards’ winners for their extraordinary contributions towards sustained success and remarkable 9.1/10 score in Guests Happiness Index.
These awards are announced as Global Village is gearing up for the launch of its Silver Jubilee anniversary on the 25th of October 2020. The family destination is setting up for another great season for its guests while maintaining the highest safety standards. Global Village has already been awarded the Dubai Assured Stamp by Dubai Municipality, Dubai Economy and Dubai Tourism (DTCM) in light of the stringent preparations for opening.

Global Village honoured all its strategic partners from government authorities that played a key role in the success of Season 24, whose support was vital in the areas of health and safety, media coverage, operational security, and providing guests with world-class entertainment experiences.
Global Village also recognises the outstanding partners, who operate and manage the attractions and outlets that draw countless guests and create unforgettable experiences. The India Pavilion won the “Best Pavilion” award for exceptional guest experience; the Morocco Pavilion won the “Best Craftsmanship” award for their showcase of authentic Moroccan artisans, the Iran Pavilion won the “Best Façade” award which beautifully illustrated the country’s rich cultural heritage, and the Turkey Pavilion won the “Best Cultural Show” award.
Grand Barbeque restaurant was awarded “Best Restaurant” for Season 24 after satisfying the taste buds of Global Village’s guests with its rich Indian cuisine. Japanese Cheesecake won “Best Kiosk” for the remarkable delicacies, and Avocadolicious was awarded “Best SME Kiosk” for their extraordinary fusion dishes that were much favoured by Global Village guests. The Indian Chaat Bazar, made popular by lovers of authentic Indian street food cuisine, won the “Best New Concept” award.
Preparations for the Season 25 opening on October 25 are nearing completion, with new concepts, ideas, and plenty more unforgettable experiences in store for guests. For the Silver Jubilee Season, Global Village will host 26 pavilions bringing together cultures from all corners of the globe. Pavilions include newcomers Russia and Cambodia who join (in alphabetical order) Afghanistan, Africa, Al Sanaa and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Americas, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, China, Egypt, Europe, India, Turkey, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Syria, Thailand, UAE and Yemen.
