Bahrain yesterday registered 510 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 712 recoveries and three fatalities.
Two Bahraini men, 78 and 68, and a Bahraini woman, 65, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 254.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 510 new cases, 159 were expat workers, 343 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related.
It said an additional 712 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 65,550.
The ministry added that of the 5,570 active cases, 115 were receiving treatment and 61 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 71,374 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,450,153 virus tests.
