Bahrain yesterday registered 507 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 629 recoveries and three fatalities.
Three Bahraini men, aged 90, 81 and 48, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 258.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 507 new cases, 140 were expat workers, 352 contacts of local cases and 15 travel-related.
It said an additional 629 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 66,813.
The ministry added that of the 5,239 active cases, 113 were receiving treatment and 56 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 72,310 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,468,655 virus tests.
