Bahrain yesterday registered 278 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 356 recoveries and four fatalities.
Two Bahraini men, aged 65 and 54, and two Bahraini women, aged 64 and 36, died yesterday taking the toll to 316.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 278 new cases, 91 were expatriate workers, 182 contacts of local cases and 5 travel-related.
It said an additional 356 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 77,132.
Of the 3,085 active cases, 67 were receiving treatment and 24 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 80,533 cases and has conducted 1,698,489 virus tests.
