Bahrain yesterday registered 179 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 354 recoveries and two fatalities. Two Bahraini men, 65 and 79, died yesterday taking the toll to 321, reports GDNOnline.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 179 new cases, 51 were expatriate workers, 118 contacts of local cases and 10 travel-related.
It said an additional 354 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 78,719. Of the 2,605 active cases, 68 were receiving treatment and 21 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 81,645 cases and has conducted 1,749,872 tests.
