Bahrain yesterday registered 157 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 192 recoveries and no fatalities.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 157 new cases, 47 were expatriate workers, 103 contacts of local cases and seven travel-related.
It said an additional 192 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 82,083.
Of the 1,979 active cases, 53 were receiving treatment and 26 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 84,349 cases and has conducted 1,885,616 tests.
