AUS alumna nominated among top young interior designers for 2020

Less than five years after graduating from American University of Sharjah’s (AUS) College of Architecture, Art and Design (CAAD), Dubai-based interior designer Fatma ElFeki has been nominated as Young Interior Designer of the Year at this year’s Commercial Interior Design (CID) Award. The CID Awards are highly competitive, recognizing the Middle East’s top established and emerging designers.

ElFeki was nominated for her work on standout commercial projects including offices for Gastronomica, Evoteq, Takeda HQ and the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park as a member of highly acclaimed boutique firm Roar, founded and led by AUS alumna Pallavi Dean. The firm and its founder received two CID nominations of their own in the categories of Interior Design Boutique Firm of the Year and Interior Designer of the Year, respectively.
