Indian expat Arun Makkoth gets lucky with Mahzooz, the region’s only weekly live draw
Mahzooz offers a grand prize of over BD 5,000,000
Long time Manama resident, Arun Makkoth, went home with more than BD51,000 last week, after participating in Mahzooz, the GCC’s only weekly live draw based in the United Arab Emirates.
Arun, a 36 year-old father who got lucky with Mahzooz on his very first entry, was originally in disbelief when he received an email from Mahzooz informing him of his winnings. “I couldn’t believe it,” said Arun. “After checking my Mahzooz account, I was shocked and spellbound. My excitement peaked when a representative from the draw called me to confirm that I had won.”
EWINGS, the managing operator of Mahzooz, invited Arun to the Mahzooz studio in the UAE to attend a live weekly draw in person, and receive his prize.
With his winnings, Arun’s first intention is to help his family and friends, as well as those that are close to him and struggling financially. However, he has bigger dreams as well. “I’ve been living abroad for more than 13 years”, explained Arun, who works as a travel agent. “My only dream was to make enough money to run my own business and live with my family back home in Thrissur, Kerala, in India. My Mahzooz winnings will definitely help me achieve my dream.”
Having discovered Mahzooz while browsing social media channels, Arun decided to try his luck. “I have never won a single draw in my life – I’ve always believed that I would never win either. I signed up for Mahzooz on the same day as the draw and I did not expect to win! My family and friends are so happy for me – thank you so much Mahzooz for changing my life!”
Mahzooz is open for participants across the Kingdom. Entrants can buy entries for the draw by simply registering via www.mahzooz.ae. The next draw will be held on Saturday, 26 December 2020 at 8:00pm Bahrain time. Mahzooz is inclusive to all eligible participants, with the entry price set at an affordable BD3.6.
