Bahrain yesterday registered 234 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 189 recoveries and one fatality.
An 85-year-old Bahraini man died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 351.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 234 new cases, 115 were expat workers, 102 contacts of local cases and 17 travel-related.
It said an additional 189 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total number of recoveries to 89,152.
The ministry added that of the 1,801 active cases, 37 were receiving treatment and 13 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 91,303 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 2,309,696 tests for the coronavirus.
