The Galleria Al Maryah Island in collaboration with the Lebanese Business Council (LBC) in Abu Dhabi and “Bhebak Ya Lebnen” unveiled a pop up concept store, Beirut POP UP, on Saturday 9 January 2021.
For a three-month period, the Beirut POP UP concept store will take up space at The Galleria Al Maryah Island welcoming fashionistas and guests to specially curated range of fashion, accessories and jewellery from the latest collections of selected Lebanese designers along with an exclusive collection by Emirati Designers from Taa’ Group.
Initiated by LBC after the August 4 Beirut explosion with the aim to support the Lebanese design and fashion industry while also preserving Lebanon’s heritage by empowering traditional craftsmanship, the Beirut POP UP concept store features Emirati and Arab designers with small and medium enterprises.
Located on Level 3, the Beirut POP UP concept store will display over 50 Lebanese designers as well as approximately 10 designers from Taa’.
The concept store will support those affected while strengthening commercial and social ties between the countries.
