The Health Ministry has announced the death of a 64-year-old Bahraini woman from Covid-19 today, reports GDNOnline.
This takes today's tally to four and the total number of fatalities in the kingdom to 402.
Earlier today, the ministry had announced the deaths of three citizens, two women, 59 and 65, and a man, 68.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 790 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 609 recoveries and three fatalities.
Two Bahraini women, 59 and 61, and an expat woman, 67, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 398.
Of the new cases, 264 were expat workers, 511 contacts of active cases and 15 travel-related.
An additional 609 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 104,487. Of the 7,217 active cases, 120 are receiving treatment and 61 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 112,102 cases. The kingdom has also conducted 2,886,600 tests for Covid-19.
