The Health Ministry has announced the death of a 58-year-old Bahraini woman from Covid-19 today, reports GDNOnline.
This takes the total number of fatalities in the kingdom to 404.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 640 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 679 recoveries and five fatalities.
Four Bahraini women, aged 64, 59, 65 and 86, and one Bahraini man, 68, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 403.
Of the new cases, 272 were expat workers, 356 contacts of active cases and 12 travel-related.
An additional 679 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 105,166.
Of the 7,173 active cases, 142 are receiving treatment and 58 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 112,742 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 2,900,004 tests for Covid-19.
