The Health Ministry has announced the death of a 55-year-old Bahraini man from Covid-19 today, reports GDNOnline.
This takes the total number of fatalities in the kingdom to 407.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 848 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 618 recoveries and three fatalities.
Three Bahraini women, aged 77, 58, and 76, died yesterday.
Of the new cases, 318 were expat workers, 516 contacts of active cases and 14 travel-related.
An additional 618 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 105,784.
Of the 7,400 active cases, 157 are receiving treatment and 58 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 113,590 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 2,913,540 tests for Covid-19.
