The Health Ministry has announced the deaths of two Bahrainis, a 56-year-old man and an 86-year-old woman, from Covid-19 today, reports GDNOnline.
This takes the total number of fatalities in the kingdom to 455.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
Covid-19 Stats
Bahrain yesterday registered 492 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 592 recoveries and one death.
A 63-year-old Bahraini woman died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 453.
Of the new cases, 202 were expat workers, 280 contacts of active cases and 10 travel-related.
An additional 592 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 116,487. Of the 6,589 active cases, 120 are receiving treatment and 59 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 123,531 cases. The kingdom has also conducted 3,120,729 tests.
