The Health Ministry has announced the death of a 66-year-old expat man from Covid-19 today, reports GDNOnline.
This takes the total number of fatalities to 469 in the kingdom.
The ministry has expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 657 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 645 recoveries and six deaths.
Four men, a Bahraini man, 59, and three expats, 69, 41 and 50, as well as two Bahraini women, 58 and 56, died yesterday.
Of the new cases, 218 were expat workers, 417 contacts of active cases and 22 travel-related.
An additional 645 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 118,301.
Of the 6,744 active cases, 108 are receiving treatment and 56 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 125,514 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 3,166,332 tests.
