Judges, readers and fellow contestants lend me your ears. Has your life taken an unexpected turn? Well, as a matter of fact everyone’s has. We all have taken a toll from our environment and ecosystems. However, while Covid-19 has affected us adversely but has helped improve the global warming trend. This is going to help everyone in the future.
As children start to do online school, they have been more open to their siblings and parents for help in their activities. As I say ‘You never know how hard something is until you try it yourself’.
Since the beginning of Covid, my mother has been building a stronger bond with my younger brother. This has made her realise how hard it is to make him concentrate. This has made her respect the teachers even more for the hard work they put in. Especially with a seven-year-old boy who doesn’t want to do work. She says she feels tired, worn out and drowsy by the end of the school day. I recently found out teachers have to stay at school for longer and do extra work.
As a Year 7 we get tests regularly and this is arduous to do in school because if you want to practise before class during the break, but you can’t because your class is too tumultuous.I know that feeling!
Tests in class are also way more demanding because you have no choice but to sit there and listen, so you should get better grades than people at home but that is not always the case. I have found online tests way easier as you can be calmer at home and possibly more comfortable. Teachers have also been found to try and help more as they know it could be hard for students to work online.
Teens and children gain more interest in certain things like cooking when they have nothing to do and the siblings like helping build relationships. Even though we aren’t allowed to socialise or go out with friends anymore we can build relationships with neighbours and family.
Since cars have an adverse effect on our climate and staying at home means there aren’t many cars going around as previously. This is improving the environment.
As the world is getting better we should still help the environment by supporting to be more eco friendly where we can and when bonds grow stronger we do as people too. Everything is going back to normal like school and work but should we still help ? What do you think?
