Bahrain yesterday registered 1,206 new Covid-19 cases alongside 830 recoveries and two fatalities.
Two Bahrainis - a woman, 81, and a man, 71, died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths to 550.
Of the new cases, 383 were expat workers, 768 contacts of active cases and 55 travel-related.
An additional 830 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 142,741.
Of the 10,989 active cases, 173 are receiving treatment and 86 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 154,280 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 3,744,274 tests.
