Bahrain yesterday registered 1,060 new Covid-19 cases alongside 1,028 recoveries and three fatalities.
Two Bahraini women, aged 61 and 42 and a 57-year-old expat man, died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths to 557.
Of the new cases, 354 were expat workers, 662 contacts of active cases and 44 travel-related.
An additional 1,028 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 144,917.
Of the 10,988 active cases, 197 are receiving treatment and 85 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 156,462 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 3,779,766 tests.
