Bahrain yesterday registered 1,267 new Covid-19 cases alongside 1,036 recoveries and five fatalities.
Four Bahrainis – two men, 106, and 67, and two women, 67, and 35 - and an expatriate man, 74, died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths to 562.
Of the new cases, 484 were expat workers, 724 contacts of active cases and 89 travel-related.
An additional 1,036 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 1,45,953.
Of the 11,214 active cases, 213 are receiving treatment and 89 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 1,57,729 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 3,798,472 tests.
