Bahrain yesterday registered 1,053 new Covid-19 cases alongside 1,152 recoveries and three fatalities, reports GDNOnline.
Two Bahrainis – a 79-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman – and an expatriate man, 54, died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths to 617.
Of the new cases, 444 were expat workers, 561 contacts of active cases and 48 travel-related. An additional 1,152 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 158,133.
Of the 10,504 active cases, 185 are receiving treatment and 96 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 169,254 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 3,983,328 tests.
