Bahrain yesterday recorded 1,147 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 1,400 recoveries and six fatalities.
Five Bahrainis - two men (61, 87) and three women (56, 58, 79, ) as well as a 33-year-old expatriate man, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 632.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 1,147 new cases, 483 were expat workers, 642 contacts of local cases and 22 travel-related.
It said an additional 1,400 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 163,935.
Of the 10,128 active cases, 211 are receiving treatment and 104 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 174,695 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 4,060,011 virus tests.
