Bahrain yesterday recorded 1,057 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 967 recoveries and seven fatalities.
Four men - three expats, aged 53, 53 and 32 and a Bahraini, aged 60, as well as three women, two Bahrainis, aged 67, 56 and an expat, aged 36, died yesterday, taking the death toll to 639.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 1,057 new cases, 461 were expat workers, 565 contacts of local cases and 31 travel-related.
It said an additional 967 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 164,904.
Of the 10,209 active cases, 190 are receiving treatment and 101 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 175,752 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 4,079,066 virus tests.
