Bahrain yesterday recorded 1,182 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 1,024 recoveries and seven fatalities.
Five Bahraini men - aged 77, 74, 68, 67 and 43, as well as two expatriates, a woman, aged 85 and a man, aged 52, died yesterday taking the death toll to 646.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 1,182 new cases, 451 were expat workers, 701 contacts of local cases and 30 travel-related.
It said an additional 1,024 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 165,928.
Of the 10,360 active cases, 186 are receiving treatment and 87 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 176,934 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 4,094,464 virus tests.
