Bahrain yesterday recorded 1,539 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,246 recoveries and eight fatalities.
Four Bahrainis - two men, aged, 69, and 61 and two women, 60 and 37, also includes four expatriate men, aged 43, 42, 42 and 37, who died yesterday taking the death toll to 705.
Of the new cases, 559 were expat workers, 970 contacts of local cases and 10 travel-related.
An additional 1,246 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 178,458.
Of the 15,126 active cases, 211 are receiving treatment and 157 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 194,298 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 4,292,201 virus tests.
