Bahrain yesterday recorded 1,579 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 1,760 recoveries and six fatalities.
Three Bahrainis - two men, 77, 66 and a woman, 35 as well as three expatriate men, 50, 44 and 43, died yesterday, taking the death toll to 752.
Of the new cases, 559 were expat workers, 1,011 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related.
An additional 1,324 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 185,619.
Of the 16,185 active cases, 313 are receiving treatment and 180 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 202,556 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 4,374,017 virus tests.
