The Health Ministry has announced four deaths, two Bahraini men, aged 71 and 46, a Bahraini woman, 49 and a 67-year-old expatriate man, from Covid-19 today.
Earlier, the ministry had announced four deaths, a Bahraini woman,68, and three expatriate men, aged 50, 45 and 36.
This takes today's tally to eight and the total number of fatalities to 798 in the kingdom.
The ministry has expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
There are 19,827 active cases in Bahrain, of which 349 are receiving treatment and 193 are in critical condition.
