Tackling insomnia 

Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep is a disorder called insomnia. It  could be acute , short term or severe ,long term . For severe case one should consult a specialist. For acute cases , sometimes home remedies are quite effective. 

Remedies for insomnia: 

1 Warm ginger- mint tea at bed time . Little honey is optional .

2 Avoid coffee after 6pm .

3 Some light exercise before bed , may be yoga or meditation.

4 Maintaining a diary : write your thoughts and also plan your next day . 

   It reduces stress.

5 Eat dinner at least 2 ½ hours before going to bed


Note : Avoid the food if allergic ,

consult a doctor in severe cases.
