The number of daily Covid-19 cases in Bahrain hit 1,936, alongside 3,005 recoveries and 22 fatalities.
Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,031.
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 868 were expat workers, 1,064 contacts of local cases and four travel-related.
An additional 3,005 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 216,832.
Of the 26,863 active cases, 388 are receiving treatment and 331 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 244,726 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 4,674,108 virus tests.
