The number of daily Covid-19 cases in Bahrain hit 1,492, alongside 2,400 recoveries and 19 fatalities.
Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,069.
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 625 were expat workers, 865 contacts of local cases and two travel-related.
An additional 2,400 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 221,508.
Of the 25,573 active cases, 451 are receiving treatment and 319 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 248,150 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 4,702,914 virus tests.
